Jip (John Simm) is stuck in a job he hates and is currently dealing with a case of sexual paranoia. His only escape is the weekend, when he and his friends Lulu (Lorraine Pilkington), Koop (Shaun Parkes), Nina (Nicola Reynolds) and Moff (Danny Dyer) go clubbing and enjoy some Ecstasy-induced fun.
Each one of them is messed up in their own way. But maybe this weekend will be a little bit different and some of them will make a breakthrough.

notes & trivia

This is the third time John Simm and Andrew Lincoln share the screen together. Previous works were
Boston Kickout and
Understanding Jane.

The film was nominated for a BAFTA and won three Welsh BAFTAs, including best director and drama. It got another seven wins and five nominations throughout numerous festivals.

There is another cut of the film called
Human Traffic Remixed, that's available on DVD in the UK and which is said to be done by the producer, with no approval from Justin Kerrigan.
