It took six whole years, but Crime and Punishment was finally released in October 2008 on DVD in the UK. For some reason, the mini-series had been released earlier that same year in the Netherlands only.
The UK edition features audio commentaries by John Simm, director Julian Jarrold, writer Tony Marchant and producer David Snodin during the whole duration of the programme. And of course make sure you read Dostoyevsky's masterpiece too.
