Series of six adaptations of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, that reworks them into current times and modern settings.
The Knight's Tale · Series 1, Episode 3
Ace (John Simm) and Paul (Chiwetel Ejiofor) are two young cellmates who also happen to be childhood friends. When the two of them fall in love with the new prison teacher, Emily (Keeley Hawes), their close friendship deteriorates until they become bitter rivals.

This is the third production reuniting John Simm with writer Tony Marchant, after
Never Never and
Crime and Punishment. It's also the second colaboration between him and director Marc Munden, after the 2002 film
Miranda.

The complete Canterbury Tales were released in October 2004 in the UK in R2 and included all six episodes of this Chaucer modern re-telling series.
During 2008, all the episodes were re-released individually this time. The Knight's Tale had a 27th October date. None of the editions included any extras.
